Tree Removal

From land-clearing to small home projects, we are uniquely equipped to provide you with the professional service you deserve. Call or email us today to schedule a free estimate for your project.
A standard tree removal involves a climber ascending the tree, safely removing the tree’s branches until he reaches the height where an optimal cut can be made to fell the remaining crown of the tree, typically a 6’-15’ length “top”. Lack of space is a common obstacle; efficiently moving large stem wood is a niche ability. When pricing a tree for removal, cutting the stem wood into 16 inch length firewood rounds is standard procedure unless discussed with you prior to providing the quote.
We provide optional hauling away of large wood. Any time large wood is hauled away, mini skid steer access is required. We are prepared to bring 1/4” thick Arbormats to protect your landscape from severe damage. When hauling of the large stem wood has been added to your project, we like to remind our clients that our stump grinder is a great option for complete removal of the tree and it’s root ball.
The remaining option for “project clean-up” is to leave all of the debris from the project, “as is”, on the property. When debris does not need to leave your property, our trucks can be used at other project sites and overall efficiency is increased. This allows us to provide a much lower price for your project, with exceptions. Leaving all of the debris has a few options that can be discussed including, but not limited to, moving only the large wood (not the branches) to a specific (optimal) location on the property. This leaves our client with a manageable clean-up that can be processed by homeowner tools.

Hazard & Storm Tree Removal
Decayed Maple
Watch Matt, our ISA Certified Arborist with Tree Risk Assessment Qualification, tackle a pair of (large) Big Leaf Maple limbs growing towards a public highway. While the stem wood of the tree was destined to remain on the hillside, all small diameter debris needed to be hauled away. Directional rigging, using a neighboring Fir tree to anchor our GRCS (Good Rigging Control System), let us safely and efficiently remove this hazardous tree.
Our standard tree removal process is to leave wood too large to process through our wood chipper on-site. We will cut the wood into approximately four to six feet long logs or cut into firewood if chosen by the client.
We offer large wood hauling to all of our clients. For our clients with acceptable trees, we work with a local timber mill to get you a return on your investment. This only applies to large scale removal projects with acceptable timber (low volume of knots/branches, length of logs, and accessibility for a log truck).
