(18) Fir Trees, Removal + Hauling
This two-day project involved providing a detailed ISA Certified Arborist Report to our client’s HOA board highlighting the logical and ethical reasoning for removing the (18) Douglas Fir and Hemlock trees surrounding the property. The first day involved (14) tree removals in the front yard with assistance from our family at Gig Harbor Crane LLC. On day two we climbed, removed, and hauled away the (4) largest Fir trees in the backyard - these treese could not be reached with the crane from its location in the driveway.
Decayed Big Leaf Maple
Bay Street Maple
Our team was hired to safely remove a beautiful ‘Big Leaf Maple’ tree growing on the hillside of a Bay Street property in Port Orchard. While the tree has a full green canopy, the tree lost approximately 25% when one of the leading stems failed in the past. Due to visible signs of decay and the Maple’s canopy growing/weighted towards the highway, the tree poses a threat to public safety.

Two-Man Team
Our client hired us to remove select trees with severe lean over their extensive driveway. Their secondary concern was any dead or broken tree limbs on the Maples, Alders, and various Evergreens adjacent to their driveway.
In this video we demonstrate what the right tools and experienced operators can accomplish in one day. Our client chose a very efficient option for this project. Instead of increasing the size of the project, and therefore the price, they opted to have us move all debris to an open area on the property for later processing/composting by the client. We will always offer a similar option for our clients with properties that can accommodate the space and mini skid steer.
